UCLA College Development

The goal of Development is to increase philanthropic support for the University by nurturing long-term relationships with UCLA's alumni and friends. This department, the largest in External Affairs, has a highly effective centralized/decentralized structure in which comprehensive fund-raising units throughout the campus report to both the respective head of the College, professional school, or department, as well as the campus' central development leadership.

The Development program is on the forefront of Campaign UCLA. With annual production in excess of $250 million, UCLA has a premier fund-raising program that is emulated at sister institutions around the country. Development also houses The UCLA Fund, which generates unrestricted support for the University's greatest needs.
