Advancement Services/UCLA Foundation

Assistant Vice Chancellor/Executive Director

This department oversees organizational strategic and budget planning and represents UCLA's external relations interests to and on behalf of the Chancellor's office and campus administration. The office coordinates several organization-wide programs, including human resources, staff training and development, special events and campus protocol. Advancement Services also encompasses the Donor Relations & Development Services unit, which provides research, event, communications, prospect management and stewardship support to the campus-wide Development operation. The UCLA Foundation, a non-profit corporation organized under IRC 501(c)(3), receives and manages private gifts on behalf of the University. This unit coordinates volunteer boards and committees and manages the short- and long-term development of the Foundation.
